Through the enactment of Complementary Law 189/20, the executive power of Rio de Janeiro state created the Special Program for Installment Payments related to the State VAT-type Tax (ICMS), recorded or not as public liabilities, derived from taxable events until August 31, 2020. The program provides for an interesting reduction on legal penalties and interests.
