The Brazilian Revenue Service (RFB) announced on Friday the rules for the filing of the individuals’ income tax return related to calendar year 2018. The software and the app for referred filing will be made available this week. The filing period starts on March 7 and the deadline is April 30.

In a nutshell, the rules for filing are very similar to the ones applicable last year, but one news should be noted: this year the taxpayer will have to inform the tax ID of all dependents listed in the return (last year only dependents that were 8 or older should have its tax id informed).
